"I would describe Nutley as a 'Norman Rockwell kind of town' ... on Halloween, the afternoon is filled with children trick or treating and hundreds parade to the door. The park system allows you to practically walk alongside the Third River (Yountakah Creek) from one end of town to the other.

"Franklin Avenue, the main street is always bustling shoppers and townsfolk out for dinner, or lunch. The town emanates from the Park Oval, the virtual center of town, to the Town Hall, police and fire departments, middle and high schools and surrounding neighborhoods of well-maintained homes."

Nutley is a Norman Rockwell kind of town...

As these houses along Memorial Park bear out, you can almost see the artists gathering thier oils and camel-hair brushes...
